Jacob Creech and Clay Dark have taken on Vice President roles at rail components and services provider A. Stucki Company (Stucki), with Creech heading up Sales and Dark, Information Technology.

Creech will be responsible for developing strategies to drive sales and improve customer service at Moon Township, Pa.-based Stucki, which in 2022 became a portfolio company of Stellex Capital Management. He served most recently as Director of Locomotive and Railcar Leasing for Progress Rail, a Caterpillar Company that manufactures railroad and transit system products. He has also worked as a Service Engineer at Amsted Rail, a Chicago-based manufacturer of freight car components, wheels, bearings and other rail-related products. Creech earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in business from Troy University in Alabama.

“Jacob’s extensive knowledge of the rail industry, along with his background in leading successful account teams, will strengthen our sales efforts and propel growth across all our product lines,” said Chief Commercial Officer Mike Delfin, who joined Stucki in early 2024.

Dark will now oversee Stucki’s IT systems, policies and infrastructure. Previously, he was Director of Information Technology for Huntsman Corporation, a Texas-based manufacturer of chemical products for consumers and industrial customers. Prior to that, he supervised ERP and applications support teams as Manager of Applications and Programming for another Texas-based firm, Lhoist North America, which provides mineral products for industrial applications. Dark holds a bachelor’s degree in business and a master’s degree in management information systems from Texas A&M University.

“Clay brings extensive experience in business process improvement, SAP, and collaborating with business leaders to drive value,” said Kyle Kolde, Chief Financial Officer at Stucki. “He will bring rigor to our IT processes and facilitate enhanced business operations across the organization.”

In related developments, Stucki recently appointed Stacy Waltz as Chief Human Resources Officer and Michelle Baker as Chief Transformation Officer.
