See Tracks? Think Train® Week Set for Sept. 15-21

Operation Lifesaver Inc. (OLI), along with state OLI programs, and rail safety partners across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico, are kicking off this year’s observance of See Tracks? Think Train® Week on Sept. 15.

See Tracks? Think Train® Week is a concentrated week of rail safety education focusing attention on the importance of making safe choices when driving or walking near railroad tracks and trains, according to OLI.

From Sept. 15-21, See Tracks? Think Train® Week will focus on a different theme each day as highlighted in the graphic below.

First held in the U.S. in 2017, this collaborative effort, which was formerly known as Rail Safety Week, is now called See Tracks? Think Train® Week throughout the U.S. “to better reflect the purpose of this week-long observance,” OLI said. This includes preventing railroad crossing and trespass incidents across North America and concentrating public attention on the need for rail safety education.
