Railway Age’s third-annual “Young Professionals” conference—the industry’s only free event tailored to helping fast trackers in the rail freight, passenger, and supply communities advance their careers—will be held virtually on April 24 at 2 p.m. ET.
Kicking off the event will be Michael Miller, CEO North America for Genesee & Wyoming, who will not only discuss his career journey but also identify the most promising growth sectors and how G&W is working to meet demand.
Other featured speakers—including recipients of Railway Age’s 25 Under 40 Awards for 2025—will take part in fireside-chat-style sessions to provide recruitment and career development advice; share their success stories (and how they navigated the bumps along the way); and address new technology that is transforming the rail industry.
Join us April 24 to ask your own questions of:
- Patrick Fuchs, Chair of the Surface Transportation Board.
- Diana B. Sorfleet, EVP and Chief Administrative Officer at CSX.
- Laura Mason, EVP, Capital Delivery for Amtrak.
- Michael McClellan, SVP and Chief Strategy Officer at Norfolk Southern.
- Gabriel J. Lopez-Bernal, President of Icomera.
- Ida Molloy Posner, VP–Strategic Planning, Railroad Development Corp.
And more speakers to be announced!
The Railway Age Young Professionals conference is supported by several sponsors, including CSX (gold), G&W (gold), AREMA (innovation spotlight), Icomera (bronze), and The Greenbrier Companies (bronze).
Registration includes access to the two-hour live event, moderated by Railway Age Executive Editor Marybeth Luczak and Senior Editor Carolina Worrell, as well as the ability to download and share the dialogues afterward.
