STV announced July 10 that Megan O’Reilly has been promoted to Vice President. In this role, she will lead the firm’s new national outreach and engagement strategies practice.

The outreach and engagement strategies team, which is part of the organization’s Advisory Services line, “clarifies complex public processes and enhances stakeholder involvement during project delivery by developing tailored branding and communications frameworks that align messaging, strategy and design on major infrastructure projects,” according to STV.

“Stakeholder engagement is crucial for our clients as it allows projects to be designed to meet community needs while building trust and support for infrastructure programs,” said STV Executive Vice President of Advisory Services Garo Hovnanian. “Megan’s ability to provide strategic counsel is rooted in deep infrastructure communication experience that is valuable for our communities and clients. She has built a strong reputation in this space and her strategy, innovation and commitment to collaboration help clients navigate some of their most visible, high-stakes projects.”

O’Reilly has 18 years of experience supporting infrastructure clients, specializing in strategic messaging, branding, and public involvement. She is currently leading outreach and engagement strategies efforts for Montgomery County, Maryland’s Flash bus rapid transit (BRT) program development and projects implementation and has recently completed the Hampton Roads Transit Connecting Chesapeake study.

O’Reilly earned her Bachelor of Arts in public relations from Belmont University and her Master of Arts in global communications from the American University of Paris.

“STV provides clients with community outreach and engagement strategy services to help gain valuable insights that improve project design and facilitate stakeholder buy-in for infrastructure programs,” the company noted. Project highlights include the North Station Draw One Bridge in Boston for the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA); the Assembly Street Railroad Corridor Separation and Consolidation project for the City of Columbia and South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT); and the Station Platform Reconstruction Public Outreach and Communications program for the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA)
