Intramotev
Intramotev, the technology company building battery-electric railcar retrofits, on March 24 announced that that Harry Zander has joined the company as Chief Commercial Officer.
Zander brings more than 30 years of experience in the rail industry to Intramotev. Most recently, he served as Chief Revenue Officer of Patriot Rail, a short line railroad holding company with more than 30 railroads. Prior to Patriot Rail, Zander was SVP of New Product Development at railcar manufacturer TrinityRail. He also spent more than two decades as an executive in the rail asset leasing industry and has served on numerous boards and executive committees of industry trade associations.
“We’re excited to have attracted a teammate like Harry,” said Intramotev CEO Tim Luchini. “He’s a well-known and respected expert in our industry, and I’m confident his leadership will help us grow our customer base and continue delivering value to rail operators nationwide.”
Zander’s hiring comes at an exciting time for Intramotev, according to the company. In November, Intramotev successfully deployed the world’s first independently driven battery-electric railcar in revenue service at Carmeuse Americas’ calcium mining site in Cedarville, Mich.

INRD
INRD on March 24 announced that it has welcomed back Brian Jonaitis as Director, Business & Industrial Development. He will docus on attracting industries to build or expand operations along the railroad’s network, developing rail-served industrial sites, and promoting economic growth in the communities served by the railroad.
Jonaitis has more than 18 years of business development experience with INRD and played an instrumental role in leading its business development team, according to the railroad. “His expertise in identifying new business with our existing customers while developing new opportunities across the network has historically positioned INRD for strategic growth,” the railroad said. Most recently, Jonaitis served as Director Railroad Services at Absolute Logistics, providing rail-warehouse consulting services to short line railroads and shippers.
“We are thrilled to have Brian back on our team. His extensive experience and dedication to the industry will be invaluable as we continue to grow and develop new opportunities for our railroad and the communities we serve,” said INRD President and CEO Joe Gioe.
HNTB
James de la Loza has rejoined HNTB Corporation as National Practice Consultant – Transit and Senior Vice President, the company announced March 21. He brings more than 40 years of experience in planning and implementation of transportation projects in California and across the U.S., including two spans as Chief Planning Officer for LA Metro.
Based in the firm’s Los Angeles office, de la Loza will provide strategic guidance to HNTB’s transportation clients, “leveraging his extensive expertise to support some of the largest and most complex transportation projects worldwide,” the company noted.
Most recently, he served in a leadership role at another engineering consulting firm where he advised on major transit and infrastructure initiatives. In his previous role as Chief Planning Officer for LA Metro, de la Loza oversaw the planning and programing of the agency’s multi-billion-dollar regional transportation strategies and capital program.
During his earlier tenure at HNTB, de la loza played a key role in advancing the firm’s presence in California’s infrastructure market across multiple sectors.

De la Loza received a master’s in architecture and urban design from the University of California, Los Angeles. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in environmental design from California State University, Long Beach.
ENSCO
ENSCO on March 21 announced that Todd Cook, Director of ENSCO’s Cyber Domain, has been honored with the Patriot Award by ESGR, a U.S. Department of Defense office. The award recognizes Cook’s “outstanding commitment to supporting ENSCO employees serving in the National Guard and Reserve.”
Cook was nominated by Dr. Mike Egnoto, an ENSCO employee and U.S. Air Force Reservist, who highlighted Cook’s mentorship, leadership, and personal support during his military training and deployments. From sharing materials from his own Air Force service to checking in on Egnoto’s family during extended assignments, Cook’s dedication went above and beyond.
“Todd and ENSCO make me feel valued and appreciated whether I am in uniform or in the office,” said Egnoto.
“This is how I see it,” said Cook. “Never leave a service member behind and never forget civilian teammates serving their country.” In addition to personal mentorship, Cook ensured Egnoto remained connected to ENSCO through social events, welcome-back gatherings, and company-wide recognition of his military milestones.
