INRD recently announced that it has promoted Brian Jonaitis to Vice President of Business Development.
Focusing on expanding markets and driving overall business development, Jonaitis will “develop and deliver on growth strategies for #TeamINRD,” the Class III said in a social media post via X.

OLI on April 30 announced that it has welcomed six “distinguished industry leaders” to its Board of Directors.
These new members, OLI says, bring decades of rail expertise and join the national rail safety education non-profit’s already engaged Board, whose guidance and dedication “play a crucial role in shaping the organization’s strategic initiatives, fostering partnerships and advancing its mission through education and outreach.”
OLI is also proud to welcome back returning Board Members for a new two-year term, “continuing their invaluable service to the organization.” The addition of these six industry leaders, the organization says, “enhances OLI’s ability to drive impactful programs and expand its reach nationwide.”
The newly appointed Board members are:
- Michael Cook, Assistant Vice President Systems Safety, BNSF Railway Company
- Rodney Doerr, Vice President & Chief Safety Officer, Union Pacific Railroad
- Matthew McClaren, Vice President Safety & Environment, Canadian National Railway
- Randy Noe, Assistant Vice President Regulatory Affairs, Norfolk Southern Corporation
- Jim Schwichtenberg, Vice President & Chief Safety Officer, CSX Transportation
- Alan Stouder, Ohio Operation Lifesaver State Coordinator, OLI National Advisory Council (NAC) Co-Chair and State Coordinator Regional Representative for Regional 2
