AITX
AITX on June 2 announced that Doug MacDonald has joined its Board of Directors, “bringing extensive freight rail and supply expertise at a time of continued growth and expansion at AITX.”
A seasoned executive with more than three decades at CN, MacDonald held leadership roles in operations, sales, and customer-facing technology. His background, the company says, “strengthens AITX’s ability to support rail shippers with practical, integrated solutions across North America and Europe.”
In addition to joining the AITX Board, MacDonald will also serve as a Senior Operating Advisor to ITE Management L.P., AITX’s parent company, supporting initiatives across its transportation and industrial portfolio.
“AITX has a strong team and impressive capabilities, and I’m excited to support its continued momentum,” said MacDonald. “Together with ITE’s broad reach and deep expertise—across AITX and its other transportation platforms—we have a powerful foundation for long-term growth.”
MacDonald most recently served as Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing at CN. During his 34-year career, he led major efforts in operations, technology, and customer engagement.
NRLC
NRLC on June 2 announced the appointment of Stephanie Deiger as Vice Chair. She succeeds Jeff Rodgers, who held the role prior to being named Chair in late 2024.
Deiger, who was most recently the Chief Human Resources Officer at Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA) in Philadelphia, brings nearly three decades of labor relations experience to the Vice Chair role. Before joining SEPTA in 2010, Deiger was an attorney at the law firm Ballard Spahr, also based in Philadelphia. Prior to that, she served as a Field Examiner for the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB). She holds a Juris Doctor from the James E. Beasley School of Law at Temple University and a Bachelor of Science in labor and industrial relations from Pennsylvania State University.
Deiger joins the NRLC just as the freight rail industry has reached dozens of local and national agreements to resolve the current round of national bargaining.
“We are excited to welcome Stephanie Deiger to the NRLC team,” said Rodgers. “Her extensive experience and skills in labor relations will help us deliver more wins for railroads and employees across the country.”
