
As Vice President of Industrial Products for BNSF, Dreier leads sales and marketing efforts for several commodities, including chemicals, forest products, construction products, and food and beverages with nearly 25 years of experience with the Class I in various leadership roles.
“I am pleased that Ryan has agreed to join RSTAC and advise the Board on matters of concern,” said STB Chairman Martin Oberman. “He has extensive experience with operations and customer service to meet the needs of shippers and the public. The other Board members and I look forward to working with him on RSTAC to help ensure the rail network remains efficient and viable.”
The ICC Termination Act of 1995 established RSTAC to advise STB, the Secretary of Transportation; the Senate Committee on Commerce, Science and Transportation; and the House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure with respect to rail transportation policy issues RSTAC considers significant. It is charged with developing private-sector mechanisms to “identify, address and prevent obstacles to effective and efficient interstate transportation,” according to STB.
