Dallas, Tex.-based TNW Corporation has hired Micah Powell as Director of Sales, overseeing the revenue department, customer relationships, and the long-term growth of its three short lines (TXR, TXGN, and TXNW) and logistics business.
Powell began his career at Union Pacific, where he spent more than 18 years, holding such leadership roles as Senior Business Manager in Detroit, Mich., and Omaha, Neb. He later joined Genesee & Wyoming, serving for more than nine years as Vice President Sales and Marketing for both the Rapid City, Pierre, & Eastern Railroad and G&W’s Western Region.
Powell earned a Bachelor of Science degree with a triple major in marketing, production/operations management, and marketing distribution management from Indiana University School of Business in Bloomington, Ind.
