Aurizon to Test Diesel Locomotive Battery Tender

Australia’s largest rail freight operator, Aurizon, will develop and test a 1.8MWh battery-electric tender (BET) to power a standard diesel-electric locomotive in a hybrid diesel-battery configuration.
